Requests that misrepresent evidence or authorship.
The institute will not knowingly create or alter evidence to obtain an academic or publication outcome.
Prohibited requests
- Fabricating participants, datasets, results, ethics approvals, or research activity
- Inventing, disguising, or knowingly using unverifiable citations
- Completing an examination, interview, or defence through impersonation
- Falsifying similarity, authorship, AI-use, or contributor declarations
- Guaranteeing a grade, approval, acceptance, indexing status, or detection outcome
Researcher responsibilities
Final accountability stays with the submitting author.
- Check every factual claim, citation, table, figure, and interpretation
- Confirm that data collection, consent, privacy, and approvals are valid
- Disclose assistance where institutional or journal rules require it
- Retain original data, analysis files, sources, and decision records
- Read the final work and prepare to explain every important choice
